  McDowell Creek Falls County Park is a hidden gem in canyons of Fall and McDowell Creeks on the western foothills of the Cascade Mountains. The 110-acre park with dramatic landscape offers beautiful views of two large and two small waterfalls, fishing, hiking, and picnicking opportunities. While hiking along a popular year-round trail, you can see all waterfalls. This one to eight-mile loop trail runs the length of the park through the scenic mossy rainforest along McDowell Creek and crosses Fall Creek. The trail can be accessed from upper, middle, or lower parking areas. This was a Fantastic Hike,  However We Arrived there later in the day, and was not able to do the whole hike.   This year we need to go there again and do the whole hike.   Because I feel there are a lot more images to be had and whole lot of fun for the both of us   Me and Jovi!!

  To start, cross a wooden bridge, and you’re on your way.    Lush greenery smacks you in the face as you continue along with the creek flowing to your right. On warm days, sunlight filters in through the tree cover and brightens the already gorgeous forest. It’s tough to imagine a more perfect two-mile hike than this.    This hike packs a lot of fun into an easy, quick stroll,  In the spring, the creek gushes powerfully with water, particularly after a rainy winter. Visit later in the summer, and you’ll get to climb down to the creek bed and hop along the rocks, searching for salamanders and crayfish. Jovi was having a Blast in the Water,   and Jovi enjoyed pulling me off the Trail and Go Towards the Water. Jovi Taking His Last Dip in the Water we are Heading Back to the Trail Head 

  Jovi and Myself Went on Another Adventure Today.   We Went to the Hobbit Trail,   Had Fun, Some of the Trail was Difficult, But Hey its a Hike !! The Hobbit Trail is a “magical”, family-friendly hike along the Pacific coastline. It begins in a lush forest full of Sitka spruce trees and leads to a hidden beach at the foot of coastal cliffs. This easy one mile (1.6 km) hiking trail is a popular family hike because of its mossy and enchanting landscape The trailhead can be accessed directly from Highway 101 and is approximate one mile (1.6 km) north of the Heceta Head Lighthouse. The parking area is on the right side when driving north on Highway 101. The trail will begin across the road. The trail is west of the road. The Hobbit Trail is downhill from the parking area and will be entirely uphill climb on the return. Parking is limited

  Salt Creek Falls Observation Site and Picnic Area is located near Oakridge – Westfire in the Cascade Mountains. The primary observation platform at the top of the waterfall is only 50 yards (45.720 m) from the parking lot. The platform is wheelchair accessible with railings that accommodate wheelchair sight-lines. Salt Creek Falls is one of Oregon’s most powerful falls, with an average yearly flow of 50,000 gallons per minute surging over the rocks. Salt Creek Falls is Oregon’s second highest single drop waterfall, cascading 286 feet (87m). (Multnomah Falls is the highest.) Jovi and Myself Started the Trek Down to the Bottom of the Waterfall  (As Close as the Bottom Platform is) Jovi took a Break While Dad Stopped to Take Pictures Jovi is Camouflaged as he Stops to take Soak in the Springs  Made it As Far As We Could Go to the Bottom   (That was the Last Platform) Of Course Jovi did not Want to Stop,  He Still Saw More Water,  and  Everyone Know...
