  The upstream end of the park provides walking trails through a grand riparian forest, with the rush of the river a constant companion.  Angling is popular in this stretch of river, and there is easy access for launching canoes or kayaks to float the Willamette River Water Trail. Jasper State Recreation Site is a beautiful riverside park that is very popular for weddings, reunions, and large family picnics. There are 4 reservable group picnic areas with covered cooking areas, sinks, picnic tables and flush restrooms nearby.  Shelter #4 has a large covered seating area as well. Play fields, playground, river access, volleyball and riverside trails provide for plenty of activities for kids and adults alike. This was a First for Jovi and Myself.   We had Never Been to this Park.   Its a Real Nice Park, well Cared for Lots of  Places to Explore and Walk.  Park was Really Deserted no one was there, Just the Caretaker and a Few Other People. ...

  Once Again Jovi and Myself Went Exploring When We Were Out on the Coast the Other Day.   We Found a Small Park Called Ork Rock  Park,  These Captures are of the Park and Looking Out From the Park.   It was a Misty Foggy Day on the Oregon Coast,   However we Still had a Blast.   Jovi Ran Around and Explored and Enjoyed Sniffing  Can Not Locate Info about this Small Little Park.   Its not Really Well Cared for However I Did Find a Citizen Review  “Location of this park is nice if you want to walk your dog after you get some oysters at the oyster farm. That’s about it. The swing set and other play items are in desperate need of being replaced. During salmon season you can cast of the bank and try to land one of these fish. Good place for a walk by the sea. Boardwalk ocean views and a small Beach area. Good fishing

  Nestled between the Fifth Street Public Market and the Whitaker District lies Skinner’s Butte & Park , one of the gems of Eugene.  Steeped in history and blessed by abundant natural beauty, it’s a unique place and worth experiencing. Running from the Willamette River at its northern boundary, to the Butte itself at the southern boundary, the park consists of over 100 acres, popular with residents and tourists alike, for a myriad of uses Uses, ranging from:    A pretty place to enjoy a picnic,      A workout while rock climbing or hiking Uses, ranging from:      Trails to bike or walk by the Willamette River,    And even a place to grow your own vegetables. Skinner’s Butte has been around forever, or close to it, namely millions of years.  More recently, within the last 200 years

  First Day of 2023    The Skies Cleared,  No Rain,  Was about 46 Degrees,  So Jovi and Myself Decided it Was Time to Vacate the House and Do the First Adventure and Explore  Walk of 2023.   So Off We Went To Find a Location. We Have Been Receiving A Lot  of Rain,   So Our Rivers are Very Full  Quite Alot of Others Had the Same Idea About Getting Out and Enjoying the Weather,  Bikes, Scooters, Runners and Other Dog Walkers All in All We Had a Great Day for Being the First Day of the New Year.   We Had Fun!!   Jovi Got to Say Hello to Lots of His Kind  🙂    I  Have a Good Feeling That its Gonna be a Good Year,  Jovi Feels the Same Way  🙂     Walking is the best possible exercise.
